After many years of relationship building with local farmers in province of Antioquia, Colombia we are proud to offer our first direct trade specialty coffee from the town of Jardin. This Colombian "Alma del Cafe de Jardin" coffee is grown high in the lush Mountains of Southern Antioquia at an average altitude of 1450 metres above sea level. The farms are nicely shaded under a canopy of banana trees and receives the perfect rain fall to sun ratio, producing wonderful tasting coffee. The coffee is sun dried and milled under the watchful eyes of our parnters at La Minita, resulting in a coffee that is consistent year after year. We prefer this coffee roasted to a East Coast Light level, that helps bring out its unique, creamy character balanced by its nice sweetnes. However, we also offer a darker roasted variety for those who prefer a richer cup of coffee.
