The Chai Company was founded with a desire to produce a chai that is truly authentic. We believe that the result of their efforts represents the best chai on the market today. After a long period of trial and error The Chai Company developed a recipe which consisted of brewing in small batches using only the highest quality natural ingredients. A longer brewing cycle extracts maximum flavor and results in a more full–bodied chai with a pleasing balance of sweetness and spice. Two concentrates are on offer: Authentic Chai, brewed with black tea and Organic Rooibos, caffeine free.
Unique to The Chai Company is the concentration of their chai, mixed at a ratio of one part chai to two parts milk rather than the 1:1 ratio of other brands. We find this level of concentration is beneficial for several reasons:
•A more powerful concentrate means the chai beverage is more flavourful and less watery
•The same amount of chai results in one and a half times more drinks per given volume and therefore results in 50 % less empty chai containers to fill our landfills
•The cost per serving is comparable to other brands but the taste is superior
